School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Tacoma, Washington

You’ll deliver hands-on support to a caseload of 35-40 middle school students, helping them achieve their communication goals. While previous experience in a middle school setting is preferred, a genuine understanding of this age group and a commitment to student success are most important.
Qualifications:
- Holds, or is eligible to obtain, a current WA SLPA license
- Fingerprinting through OSPI completed, or willingness to complete this requirement
- Familiarity with middle school students beneficial
- Solid organizational and communication skills
- Passion for making a positive difference in students’ lives
Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans designed by the supervising virtual SLP
- Provide direct speech and language support to assigned students
- Record and track progress, maintaining accurate documentation
- Communicate effectively with educators, staff, and families
- Foster a supportive and encouraging environment for students
