Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Engage with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and student support teams
- Advocate for students’ language and communication needs within the school community
