What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure or eligibility in North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Previous experience in school settings strongly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and document progress
What You’ll Do:
- Assess students to determine speech and language therapy needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to students, both one-on-one and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
- Complete all required documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings and help support compliance with special education requirements
- Provide education and resources to staff and families on speech and language development
