School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Hendersonville, North Carolina

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates welcome
- School-based experience or a genuine interest in working within educational settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt instructional practices for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a wide variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student growth
- Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Provide direct intervention individually and in small groups within the school setting
- Offer guidance and resources to parents and educators regarding communication best practices
