School Speech Language Pathologist - Leland, NC

Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid license to practice as an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility preferred
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Comfort with assessment tools and data-driven documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify communication disorders in students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy programs and interventions
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student success
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and clear communication
- Create a welcoming, inclusive therapeutic environment for diverse student populations
