School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Charlotte, North Carolina

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine students’ needs and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct and indirect therapy to students in group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain detailed and accurate session notes, evaluation reports, and progress summaries
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and recommendations with colleagues and families
- Offer guidance and resources to classroom teachers and families to help integrate strategies into daily routines
- Stay current on best practices and state/federal regulations affecting special education services
