Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain North Carolina SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
- Experience working in a school setting, ideally with diverse populations and a range of student needs
- Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing both direct and consultative therapy services
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students, individually or in small groups
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Document student progress, maintain confidential records, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams within the school community
