School Speech and Language Pathologist | Thomasville, North Carolina

This full-time position spans the full academic year, from August to June, with contract hours between 35 to 37.5 per week.
This role offers flexibility in caseload, with preferences considered during interviews, and a supportive environment where both experienced clinicians and SLP-CFs can thrive. District supervision is available for Clinical Fellows, while supervision for SLPAs is not currently offered. Licensure in North Carolina is mandatory to apply.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license (Speech-Language Pathology)
- Credentialed as SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or Clinical Fellow (CF)
- School-based therapy experience preferred, especially with Autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities
- Comfortable managing caseloads up to 35 students
- Commitment to serving Pre-K through secondary student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop and implement IEPs
- Deliver direct therapy services to students across various age groups
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records and provide progress reports in line with school guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and student planning sessions
