Qualifications:
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification as required for school-based practice
- Experience within K-12 school settings, with a focus on elementary students preferred
- Ability to independently manage, assess, and serve a diverse caseload
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and implement individualized therapy plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with state and school district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student development and success
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services across elementary and K-12 students
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and student-centered planning
- Stay current with best practices and professional standards in school-based speech therapy
