Apex, NC
Bilingual Therapies Schools - SLP Contract Today Apply

Step into a rewarding opportunity making a difference in students’ lives as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina. These full-time contract roles will provide vital support across two elementary campuses each, within a close-knit group of schools. For professionals passionate about helping young learners communicate and thrive, this assignment promises both professional growth and the satisfaction of meaningful impact.

You’ll be paired with a primary SLP at your assigned schools, focusing on high caseloads determined by IEP and workload needs, not just headcount. The specific balance of time between campuses (such as 2.5/2.5 or 3/1 days) flexes with school demands while keeping locations within easy proximity. Bring your collaborative spirit—your expertise will amplify supportive services for students, teachers, and parents alike.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active North Carolina SLP license and educator certification
  • At least 1 year of prior school-based SLP experience
  • Willingness to obtain an NPI number and register with NC Tracks
  • Ability to clear DCDEE fingerprint and SOR background checks
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Duties:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, supporting IEP goals
  • Collaborate with primary SLP and school staff to serve high-need caseloads
  • Document progress and maintain timely records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaborations
  • Engage parental and community partners as needed

Benefits include the stability of a long-term assignment (through June 2027), a predictable weekly schedule, and the chance to work in a supportive, knowledgeable SLP team environment.

Ready to help shape young voices and lives? Take the next step by submitting your application today! Embark on a school-based assignment that promises challenge, impact, and personal growth.
