Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly desired
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to support student achievement
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to adapt instructional strategies
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and progress reports
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and district staff consultations
- Support students’ participation in academic and social settings
