Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In this full-time role, you'll provide dedicated services to a caseload of 40-50 students, primarily at the elementary level, with the flexibility to design your own schedule. The assignment spans the academic year, beginning in mid-August and concluding in late May, and covers six schools within the district, giving you a diverse and engaging environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience with K-12 students, with an emphasis on elementary-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel between schools as needed
- Organizational skills to effectively manage caseload and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions
- Conduct assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support the progress of each student
- Maintain timely and accurate records of assessment, treatment, and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing evaluation of service effectiveness
- Promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment across all assigned schools
Schedule and Environment:
- Full-time, contract position aligned with the academic calendar (August to May)
- Service will be provided at six schools, with the flexibility to create your own schedule based on caseload needs
