Key Qualifications:
- Valid state license for Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow eligibility
- Experience working in schools, ideally with elementary-aged children
- Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of 40-50 students
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and intervention to K-12 students, focusing on elementary
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and report results to stakeholders
- Consult and collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ learning goals
- Travel between six schools within the district and manage a flexible calendar within the school year (8/17-5/28)
- Offer professional recommendations and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings as needed
