Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license required
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Educator Certificate
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, especially with early childhood populations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Competency and willingness to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Availability for full in-person caseload; hybrid model considered if able to meet supervision requirements (minimum 3 days onsite)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to early childhood students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Effectively manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 students
- Supervise and mentor an SLPA, ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain meticulous documentation in line with school and state policies
- Engage families and educators to maximize student progress and support
