School Speech Language Pathologist - Colorado Springs, CO
An exciting opportunity awaits skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) in a contract-to-hire capacity for a leading educational site near beautiful Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part by overseeing and providing clinical supervision to onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), as well as conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations for a diverse student population.

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active (or eligible for) Colorado state SLP licensure
- Proven experience supervising SLPAs in a school or pediatric setting
- Demonstrated ability to perform speech-language evaluations and develop effective plans of care
- Strong communication, organizational, and mentorship skills
- Experience in educational environments is preferred
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing on-site clinical supervision of SLPAs, including guidance, coaching, and evaluation
- Conducting speech-language assessments and writing thorough, compliant reports
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary school staff, parents, and administration
- Assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintaining proper documentation and adhering to district and state compliance
