Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure for Colorado or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience supervising SLPAs in an academic setting highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and creating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, organization, and mentorship skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language evaluations for students with diverse needs
- Provide professional supervision, training, and guidance to SLPA team members
- Assist and consult in the development and implementation of individualized therapeutic programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment within Mountain View Academy
