- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Texas SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience providing therapy services in a school environment (preferred)
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with various communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and family conferences as needed
- Provide consultative support and resources to classroom teachers
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
