- Prior experience working in a K-12 school setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques for speech and language disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultative and support services to teachers and school staff regarding student communication needs
- Engage in ongoing professional development and implement best practices in school-based speech therapy
