Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
  • Skilled in performing comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership qualities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and provide clinical supervision to onsite SLPAs, ensuring best practices and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct detailed student evaluations and re-evaluations for speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate closely with educators and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in line with school and state guidelines.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor within a supportive educational team.
