School Speech Language Pathologist - Calhan, Colorado

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
- Skilled in performing comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and provide clinical supervision to onsite SLPAs, ensuring best practices and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct detailed student evaluations and re-evaluations for speech and language needs.
- Collaborate closely with educators and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in line with school and state guidelines.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor within a supportive educational team.
