Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Schools-based experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload of up to 55 students
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
- SLPA supervision is not required; only fully credentialed SLPs considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver direct therapeutic services both individually and in small groups
- Complete required documentation and progress reporting
- Collaborate with classroom staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input on language and communication strategies
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school-site activities
