Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license for North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience or strong interest in pediatrics, including early childhood and elementary-aged students
- Ability to adapt intervention methods for a range of student needs
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Previous experience working within schools is highly valued, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Prepare and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions
- Maintain detailed progress records and collaborate with families and teachers
- Provide resources and guidance to support students’ overall developmental growth
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities as needed
