What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina
- Experience working with K–12 students, including pediatric populations and early childhood
- Familiarity with both moderate and profound needs, adapting strategies as needed
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Flexibility to manage varied caseloads effectively
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individual therapy plans, adapting approaches for diverse learners
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain detailed records and prepare documentation to track progress and meet compliance standards
- Support IEP development, attending meetings as necessary and advocating for student needs
