Qualifications:
- Active Delaware SLP license (please submit with your application)
- CCC-SLP certification required
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable adapting to changing caseloads and environments
- Compassionate approach to working with diverse student populations, including medically homebound youth
- Superior communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Resume submission required alongside license information
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in a school building as well as in homebound settings
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and families
- Modify interventions and schedules as needed to best serve a fluctuating caseload
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation compliant with school and state standards
- Participate in meetings and contribute insights on student progress and recommendations
