Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Delaware (DE SLP license required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Comfortable working both in traditional school settings and providing homebound student services
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt to a caseload that may shift throughout the school year

Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students either within a school building or, when assigned, directly to students who are medically homebound
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and families to foster student progress and achievement
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Provide consultation and support to staff regarding speech and language interventions
- Create engaging, individualized therapy sessions that motivate students
This contract opportunity begins August 25, 2026, and continues through June 8, 2027, with flexible full-time or part-time hours (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday). The specific school building assignment will be determined, with occasional homebound support as needed.
