School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Bear, Delaware

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and valid Delaware SLP license (required for consideration)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience providing SLP services in K-12 settings preferred
- Comfort with flexible scheduling and willingness to travel locally for homebound student sessions
- Commitment to collaborative teamwork and inclusive practices
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students within a school building and to those who are medically homebound
- Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans addressing students’ needs
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required reporting in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families to ensure coordinated student support and intervention
- Provide input during IEP meetings and help transition services as students’ needs change
- Adapt services as caseloads fluctuate throughout the academic year
This position offers a flexible schedule with both part-time and full-time options available (Monday through Friday, up to 37.5 hours weekly). You’ll build strong relationships across multiple educational environments while broadening your professional experience.
