Conveniently located near New Castle, DE, this role offers your choice of full-time or part-time hours, tailored to fit your lifestyle and career goals. With a collaborative environment, a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and support for both on-site and teletherapy delivery, you’ll find the work-life balance you’ve been looking for.
Bring your expertise to a school-based setting and help children meet communication and developmental milestones. Compensation ranges from $45 to $55 an hour, depending on your experience and education, along with weekly pay to keep things simple.
Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Experience with preschool or elementary populations preferred
- SLP-CCC credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Background in pediatric, school-based, and healthcare SLP settings valued
- Familiarity or interest in teletherapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and documentation skills
What You’ll Do:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students in preschool and/or elementary grades
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop IEP goals, and collaborate on intervention plans
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Work closely with educators, families, and other specialists to ensure the best student outcomes
- Participate in meetings and team collaborations to support student success
