Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - New Castle, Delaware

This contract opportunity offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, supporting a diverse student population through on-site and teletherapy services. You'll use your expertise in speech-language pathology to foster progress in both individual and group settings. Whether you’re an experienced clinician or completing your CFY, you will collaborate closely with education teams and families to create supportive, innovative therapy plans. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about pediatric care and making a lasting difference.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Delaware SLP License required
- Skilled in pediatric speech therapy practices (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY welcome)
- Experience in educational (school-based) and healthcare (SLP–healthcare) settings a plus
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms
- Ability to tailor interventions for varied age groups, including preschool and elementary students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language screenings, evaluations, and therapy
- Create and implement individualized education and treatment plans
- Track student progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate progress with teachers and families
- Adapt therapy strategies for in-person and remote delivery
- Contribute to a supportive and positive school environment
