Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Wilmington, DE
Empower young learners and support their communication growth by providing high-quality speech-language pathology services to preschool and elementary-age students. This contract opportunity offers the ability to make a meaningful impact in a school environment, with both full-time and part-time positions available. You’ll work Monday through Friday, with hours between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, and compensation ranges from $45 to $55 an hour based on your experience and education.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices and tools
- Ability to work with preschool and elementary school-aged children
- Open to both SLPs with experience and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students (in-person or via teletherapy as needed)
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' needs
- Deliver services in accordance with IEP goals and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and supportive learning environment
