Key Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy preferred
- Comfortable traveling locally to provide services to homebound students when needed
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Commitment to supporting both in-building and homebound students, as caseload fluctuates throughout the year
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services for students with varied needs
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and maintain timely, accurate therapy documentation
- Support students in achieving IEP goals both in the school building and at home as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic student support
- Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
