Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Delaware SLP license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is essential
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Comfortable working with both in-school and homebound student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and interventions to students in a school environment
- Deliver services to students who are homebound due to medical needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy techniques to accommodate a variety of student needs and settings
- Support a fluctuating caseload as student needs change throughout the year
