School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Wilmington, Delaware

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the full 2026-2027 academic year. Located near Wilmington, DE, this onsite position has an anticipated start date of August 19, 2026, and will run through June 15, 2027. You’ll work weekday hours from 8:30am to 4:00pm EST, which includes a paid 30-minute lunch, for a total of 37.5 hours weekly at an elementary school setting.
This role is open to experienced SLPs who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as strong Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) ready to launch their careers. Please note: this opportunity is not available for virtual (VOCO) providers or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathology License (attachments required for submission; SLP-CF applicants exempted temporarily)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP preferred, but will consider outstanding Clinical Fellows
- School-based SLP experience or relevant pediatric clinical background
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students as indicated by their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans to support communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance in line with state and district requirements
