Your role involves working onsite, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm, including a 30-minute paid lunch daily. The position covers the entire academic year, starting mid-August and wrapping up mid-June. Please note, while this opportunity is open to SLPs and SLP-CFs, it is not available to SLPAs or teletherapy providers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathology license required (or eligibility for SLP-CF supervision).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
- Previous experience supporting students in a school setting is an asset.
- Dedication to evidence-based interventions and individualized education plans.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, direct therapy, and consultations for students with speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to create optimal learning environments.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development.
- Accurately document service delivery, progress, and maintain confidential records.
- Adapt and adjust strategies to meet diverse student needs and ensure their educational success.
