Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Wilmington, Delaware
Exciting opportunity available for a passionate SLP or SLPA to make a difference in the lives of students for the 2026-2027 school year! This contract role is based near Newark, Delaware, engaging students across K-12th grade. You’ll play a vital role in supporting speech, language, and communication goals within a collaborative and engaged school environment.
Enjoy a flexible work schedule, typically between 35-40 hours per week. Elementary hours run 8am–4pm, middle and high school hours are 6:45am–2:45pm, with the option to flex or split to a mutually agreed schedule, such as 7:30am–3:30pm, based on meetings and school needs. The campus is ready to supervise CFs and SLPAs, making this a fantastic opportunity for new graduates and clinical fellows alike.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active or pending Delaware SLP or SLPA license
- Experience or enthusiasm for working in school-based and pediatric settings
- Ability to work on-site and successfully pass a drug screen/background check
- Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
- Open to Clinical Fellows as well as licensed SLPAs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services for K-12 students
- Assess, develop, and implement IEPs and therapy plans
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and colleagues
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in meetings and contribute to a team-centered approach
