Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in New Castle, DE

Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students in the Newark, DE area for the 2026-2027 school year! This contract opportunity is designed for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about helping children and adolescents develop critical communication skills in a dynamic school setting.
You’ll collaborate with a dedicated educational team, working with students across elementary, middle, and high school. Your day will be grounded by a flexible schedule within the 8am-4pm (elementary) or 6:45am-2:45pm (middle/high school) blocks. There’s also the possibility of arranging a mutually convenient schedule—such as 7:30am-3:30pm—offering a balance that fits your needs and the school community.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current or pending Delaware SLP license (must be active prior to the start date)
- Ability to successfully complete a drug screen and background check
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads (K-12); Healthcare and/or CCC credentials a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required
- Open to considering Clinical Fellows
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to student support teams
