Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Wilmington, Delaware

Seeking a credentialed, compassionate professional eager to provide speech-language services in an engaging school-based contract role. This position welcomes those experienced in school settings as well as in healthcare, with opportunities for both SLPs (including those holding the CCC credential and those completing their CFY) and SLPAs. If you have a passion for pediatric care and are comfortable delivering services face-to-face or via teletherapy, bring your expertise to this supportive educational environment.
Key qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an SLP, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
- ASHA CCC credential preferred for SLPs, but candidates completing CFY also encouraged
- Experience delivering therapy to pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Skilled in developing, implementing, and tracking individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning
Responsibilities include:
- Providing assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention for speech, language, and communication needs
- Delivering direct and consultative services to students, both in-person and remotely as needed
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing detailed progress reports
- Creating engaging, age-appropriate materials and activities
- Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
