Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid state license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLP-CCC applicants; strong support for CFY candidates
- Experience working with pediatric and school-age populations, assessing and treating a wide range of communication disorders
- Teletherapy experience is a plus for remote opportunities
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, faculty, and family members to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in group or one-on-one settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain thorough progress notes and timely reports to comply with all documentation and district requirements
- Offer support and mentorship for students and, where applicable, SLPAs and CFY mentees
