Candidates will support a diverse caseload of young learners, collaborating with teachers and families to positively impact communication, language, and social development. Teletherapy opportunities are available for eligible professionals.
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience in school settings and/or pediatric populations
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to various learning needs and environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in preschool and elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide therapy sessions on-site or via teletherapy
- Document progress and collaborate with educators and families
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
