Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for Kansas
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Ability to work fully on-site (remote work is not available for this assignment)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for a varied caseload (final details available by August 1st)
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policy and regulations
- Provide direct therapy services and consultative support as SLPs are reassigned within the district
