Available Opportunities:
- Option 1: October to December (12–15 weeks); 3 days per week, supporting early childhood, Pre-K, and students utilizing AAC devices. This role includes a collaborative caseload, working alongside another SLP to provide continuity and comprehensive support, particularly during a MAT leave.
- Option 2: September to November/December; 2 days per week, focused on early learners (Pre-K, early childhood) and AAC users. You'll share responsibilities and caseload with another SLP in a collegial, team-oriented environment.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Recent experience providing speech services in a school setting
- Familiarity with early childhood and Pre-K populations
- Skilled in utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Excellent communication abilities and collaborative work style
- Ability to deliver services onsite as this is an in-person role only
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse student caseload
- Implement speech-language interventions, focusing on communication needs of young learners and AAC users
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster student progress
- Document services and progress in alignment with school and program standards
- Collaborate with the other SLP to ensure consistent, high-quality care
