Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure in Kansas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in school-based environments preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to evolving assignments and work effectively with diverse student groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Flexibly respond to changing caseloads and support various locations as needed within the school system
