Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Skilled in assessment, intervention, and documentation for middle school students
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to 8th and 9th graders
- Conduct student screenings, assessments, and write comprehensive reports
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the IEP team
- Provide engaging therapy tailored to student needs in both individual and group settings
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes
- Participate in faculty meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
