Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP licensure (or eligibility) in Pennsylvania
- Experience providing speech and language services within a school or pediatric setting
- Competency in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to supporting student growth and inclusion within the educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to 8th and 9th grade students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and related documentation
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to create effective interventions and strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and student evaluations
- Maintain detailed records of sessions and progress in accordance with school policies
