Desired Qualifications:
- Valid New York SLP License
- TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification required
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and CCC-SLPs are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based setting supporting elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency concerns
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress regularly
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each child
- Document services and maintain compliance with school and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insight to student care teams
