School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Vestal, New York
Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist interested in working with elementary-aged students in a supportive educational setting. This full-time, contract position runs from September 3, 2026, through June 25, 2027, with a schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You'll be part of a dedicated team providing essential services at a single school site, contributing to the growth and success of young learners.
Qualifications:
- Possession of current New York State SLP License
- TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification required
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students in both individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments and collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to develop and implement IEPs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Support students in achieving communication goals that enhance academic and social success
