Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current SLP licensure in New York (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in pediatric and/or educational settings
- Knowledge of IEP development and documentation practices
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Openness to working with varying caseload complexities
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ needs
- Deliver therapy sessions (individual and group) in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Participate in professional development and adapt to innovative approaches in school-based speech therapy
