Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially Early Childhood and Elementary students
- Knowledge of best practices in speech therapy for schools
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Confidence working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Comfort adapting therapy approaches to meet diverse learning needs
Role Highlights:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-age children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other support staff to facilitate student progress
- Provide both direct and consultative services as needed
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and professional development sessions
