Qualifications:
- Active NY Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification
- Eligibility for or commitment to the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or a strong desire to work with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication abilities and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for elementary-age students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy sessions and consult with teachers and family members
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
