What you’ll bring:
- Active Connecticut SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs welcome with supervisor provided
- Strong background in school-based SLP practice
- Experience working with elementary caseloads
- Willingness to travel between two school sites if needed
- Completed or able to complete fingerprint and background check as required by local regulations
- Ability to start promptly and handle onsite responsibilities
- Upfront licensing and credentials (no SLPAs accepted)
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized plans tailored to student needs and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Manage schedule across potentially two school sites while meeting timelines and service requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative decision-making for students
