School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | New Britain, Connecticut

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in CT required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) if district supervision bandwidth permits
- Prior school-based experience is essential
- Experience with elementary-level caseloads highly desirable
- Must complete district fingerprints and background checks before starting
- Upfront license verification accelerates onboarding
- SLPAs are not being considered for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with their IEPs
- Manage a varied caseload, potentially splitting time between two sites as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student success
- Document assessments, progress reports, and therapy sessions in compliance with district expectations
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
- Maintain timely communication with supervisors and families
