Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred
- Experience in school-based settings or pediatric populations (SLPA and Clinical Fellowship Year candidates also welcome)
- Proficiency with AAC devices
- Familiarity with the IEP process and related documentation
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for a variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing challenges
- Design and execute individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Work closely with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, SLPAs, and occupational therapists
- Track student progress, prepare detailed reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consistently update and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory standards
