Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in the state (Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required)
- Experience providing therapy and evaluations in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting age-appropriate objectives for PreK-2nd graders
- Maintain detailed documentation of progress, report writing, and data collection in compliance with school requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
- Attend IEP meetings, contribute to team planning, and provide guidance on communication strategies within the classroom
- Engage in regular professional development and stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
