Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Houston, TX

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is valuable
- Familiarity with AAC devices
- Understanding of IEP development and implementation
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
- Work collaboratively with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary teams including PTs, SLPAs, and OTs
- Track and report student progress, adapting interventions as needed
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation following district and regulatory standards
This is an onsite position serving students directly in school environments. Your day will be varied, engaging with students of different abilities, supporting intervention planning, and ensuring compliance with IEPs.
