Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Corpus Christi, TX

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CCC-SLP (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results with stakeholders
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support students’ communication needs
