Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas licensure or eligibility for Texas state licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience with pediatric populations or within a school setting highly valued
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Solid understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for school-aged children
- Design and implement tailored speech therapy interventions
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, SLPAs, physical therapists, and occupational therapy professionals to optimize student progress
- Regularly monitor and document student achievements and challenges, maintaining thorough and organized records
- Offer therapy sessions on-site, with flexible options for full time or part time schedules
